Overview
EVE Nexus ("the App") is a companion app for EVE Online developed by an independent developer. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
Data We Collect
Data You Provide
- EVE Online Character Data: When you log in with EVE SSO, we request access to your character's skills, wallet balance, and saved fittings. This data is stored locally on your device only and is never transmitted to our servers.
- Saved Fittings: Ship fittings you create are stored in a local SQLite database on your device. We do not have access to this data.
Data Collected Automatically
- Advertising Data: The App displays banner advertisements served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data subject to Google's Privacy Policy. You can opt out of personalized ads in your device settings.
- Crash Reports & Analytics: If — and only if — you accept the consent notice shown when you first open the App, non-personal crash reports and usage analytics are sent to Google Firebase (Crashlytics and Analytics). Crash reports contain the error, the stack trace, and basic device and app-version details; analytics records which screens you open. Neither contains your EVE character, your ESI data, or your login tokens, and both are tied to a random installation identifier rather than to you. If you decline, nothing is collected, and you can change your choice at any time in the App.
Data We Do NOT Collect
- We do not operate servers that store user data.
- We do not collect email addresses, passwords, or personal information.
- We do not share your EVE character data with any third party.
- Your EVE SSO tokens are stored encrypted on your device using platform secure storage.

Data Retention
All data (fittings, cached market prices, character skills) is stored locally on your device. Uninstalling the app removes all data. We have no mechanism to delete data on your behalf because we never receive it.
Your Rights
- You can revoke the App's access to your EVE character at any time via the EVE Online third-party app manager.
- You can clear all local app data by going to Settings > Data > Clear Cache, or by uninstalling the App.
Children's Privacy
EVE Online is rated for ages 18+. This App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy. Significant changes will be noted in the app's version changelog. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
